As a doctor, work stress is an inevitable part of my professional life. The pressure to provide the best care for my patients, the long hours, and the emotional toll can all take a toll on my mental and physical well-being. Family, healthy relationship and friends has been a great support to me. Over the years I have created routine ways to unleash happiness and live a fulfilling life. Here are a few things I do to help manage work stress and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
Sing and Write Songs
Music has always been a powerful tool for me to express my emotions and relieve stress. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, I turn to my guitar and sing or write a song. Not only does it help me unwind and relax, but it also allows me to tap into my creativity and feel a sense of accomplishment.
Creating inspiring posts on my Instagram account is something that I am truly passionate about. I love the idea of using social media as a platform to spread positivity and motivation to a global audience. It brings me immense joy to know that my posts can make a difference in someone’s day or even change their life for the better. I believe that we all have the power to inspire and uplift one another, and my Instagram account is my way of contributing to that movement. By sharing my personal experiences, insights, and words of encouragement, I hope to help others see their potential, overcome their obstacles, and achieve their dreams.
Dancing is another activity that I turn to when I need to let loose and have some fun. Whether it’s taking a dance class or dancing in my living room, moving my body to the rhythm of the music helps me release stress and feel energized.
Being out in nature is an excellent way to clear my mind and connect with my surroundings. Surfing, in particular, is a sport that helps me escape from the daily stressors of work and immerse myself in the ocean’s beauty. The physical activity and the thrill of riding waves also provide an excellent workout for my body and mind.
Yoga is a practice that I have incorporated into my daily routine to help me manage stress and stay centered. Practicing yoga helps me connect with my breath and body, and the mindfulness aspect helps me stay present in the moment and let go of worries about the past or future.
Traveling is another way I unleash happiness and escape from the routine of work. Exploring new places, experiencing new cultures, and meeting new people is a powerful way to rejuvenate and gain new perspectives.
